Does Chapstick really work?
For years I’ve wondered — does lip balm actually work.
In short — no.
In long — it depends what you mean by work.
Lip balms, particularly oil-based balms, do help seal in moisture on the skin of your lips temporarily, but once the thin film of hydration they capture evaporates, your skin is actually worse off..
Why is Carmex bad for your lips?
